Our Practice

James Cartwright

James is an associate attorney in our Pittsburgh office and concentrates his practice in the area of products liability, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, and medical malpractice. Before joining Swartz Culleton PC, James was a law clerk for a West Virginia law firm where he assisted primarily in personal injury matters representing individuals who had been exposed to toxic chemicals. James also spent time as a law clerk in our Pittsburgh office assisting exclusively on personal injury matters before his admittance to the bar.

James earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law with a concentration in Civil Litigation. While in law school, James competed interscholastically on the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Mock Trial Team. Before law school, James graduated from Franklin and Marshall College with a Bachelor’s degree in government and a minor in English literature. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
